CNN: Authorities try to track down suicide pact victims

Authorities are trying to track down more than 30 people who allegedly planned to take part in a mass suicide on Valentines Day. Officials arrested Gerald Krien who organized the suicide pact via an internet chat room. A mother with two small children was among those who agreed to take part in the pact. She also planned to kill her kids. A person from Canada believed to have been inside the group agreeing to the mass suicide contacted authorities. Law enforcement seized Krien's computer. Krien planned to arrange the suicides over the internet possibly through the use of web cams. Police, FBI and the RCMP are seeking to track down the others who may have been from the US, Canada or other jurisdictions.
