Recently the news cited that troops were close to capturing a widely known terrorist. I am for freedom of
the press, but at the same time I am certain that this
information tips off terrorist organizations.
Weighing in on the debate about spreading disinformation on the web it seems necessary in a time
of war that information is also a tool. Eventually
the truth will out, but there is a need to make
sure that troop movements are not disclosed so readily.
